Using Sex Toys
Alright, so let’s talk about something that can be a little uncomfortable for some people – sex toys. If you’re using them, it’s important to take good care of them. And that means lube, folks. But not just a little dab, you need to go all out with the lube if you want to avoid any unpleasant burning sensations and unwanted cuts.
Now, here’s the thing – not all lubes are created equal. If you’re using a toy made from silicone or TPE, make sure you’re using a water-based lube. Trust me, it’ll stick better and make for a much better time than silicone lube. And for the love of all things holy, do NOT use silicone lube on your silicone toy. The chemicals will react and your toy will slowly deteriorate over time. Nobody wants that.
Cleaning
And after you’ve had your fun, it’s important to clean your toy right away. Don’t let it soak in your bodily fluids for days on end, that’s just gross. All sorts of nasty bacteria and mold can grow on it, turning your once-pristine toy into a disgusting mess.
Cleaning it is easy, though. Just use some mild soap and tepid water and get into every nook and cranny. And if you’re using a Cyberskin or silicone sleeve, don’t forget to use some renewing powder to keep it soft and supple.
Storing
Finally, where you store your toys is just as important as how you clean them. Don’t put them near perfumes, powders, or oils because they could irritate your skin. Instead, put them in the pouch or box they came in or get a silky pouch or small storage box. This will keep dust and lint off of them and keep them in great shape.
So there you have it, folks. Take care of your toys and they’ll take care of you.
